# Search, filter and sort

> Find records in the Forms list by period, text and order.

Use these tools to find records in the Forms list.

## Filter by period

**1. Tap the funnel**

The filter button is at the bottom right. The **Filter Options** window opens with a **Period** list: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last year and All.

**2. Choose a period**

Tap one, then tap the green check mark to apply it.

The purple **X** closes the window. The list heading shows the period, for example **Forms (376) - Last 30 days**.

>
> The default when the app opens is **Today**. If you see "No form found - Try different time period", pick a longer period.

## Sort

Tap the sort icon at the top right. Choose one of these options:

* **Sort by Newest First** (default, shown with a check mark)
* **Sort by Oldest First**
* **Sort by User**

Tap **Cancel** to close the menu.

## Search

Type in **Search forms** at the top right. The list narrows to matching records and the count updates. Search matches text shown on the records, for example a client name. Tap the **x** in the search box to clear it.

## Refresh

Tap the circular arrow at the bottom left to reload the list.
