# Tour of the app

> Find your way around the side menu and the Forms list.

After you sign in, you land on the Forms list. The side menu on the left shows your account details and the main menu items.

## Side menu

The side menu shows, from top to bottom:

* Your initials in a circle
* Your name
* Your role, for example Admin
* Your email

Below that are these items:

* **Forms**
* **Sync Offline Data**
* **Delete Offline Data**, shown in purple with a warning icon
* **Logout**
* An **Offline Mode** toggle

The XForms logo and the app version number are at the bottom of the menu.

## Forms list

The main area is the Forms list. The heading shows how many forms match and the period, for example **Forms (376) - Last 30 days**.

| Area | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Form Type** dropdown (left, under the heading) | Choose which form type to show. |
| **Search forms** box (right, under the heading) | Type to find records. |
| Record card | Shows a **Draft** label if the record is a draft, the date and time at the top right, and summary lines such as client, facility, notes, field tech and form name. Tap a card to open it. |
| Refresh button (circular arrow, bottom left) | Reloads the list. |
| Orange **+** button (bottom centre) | Starts a new form. |
| Filter button (funnel, bottom right) | Opens the filter options. |
| Sort button (lines icon, top right) | Opens the sort options. |

A record opens with the title **Edit: \[form name]**. **Save** is at the bottom right and a **Delete** (trash) icon is at the bottom left.
